Andrew founded Tanglewood Legacy Advisors in 2003 with the vision of providing intimate and highly personalized wealth planning advice to family stewards and private business owners. Prior to creating Tanglewood Legacy Advisors, Andrew had an outstanding 22 year career with a top international financial services firm. In addition to serving as an advocate for his clients for over three decades, Andrew has been deeply involved in the Houston community as Chair of the Financial Planning Association of Houston, Chair of the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council, President of the Emory Alumni Council of Houston, and Treasurer of the Houston Public Media Board. He also has served on the board of the Holocaust Museum of Houston and as a member of the Technology Executive Council of Houston. Andrew is currently an Ambassador for the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards and teaches literacy classes at the Mission of Yahweh. He is a graduate of Emory University and earned his Certified Financial Planner® certification through the University of Houston. He is recognized as a thought-leader on wealth planning, economic trends, and family-owned business issues.
