Associate Vice President

Manjula has over 20 years of experience helping families navigate the intersection of their lives and complex financial planning issues. She is a problem solver and a thinking partner to the families she works with.

Manjula is a financial advocate to those facing late-life divorce, guiding them in cooperation with their legal counsel and analyzing the complexities of the division of significant assets and the related tax consequences.  That may include the long-term financial implications of dividing liquid and non-liquid assets, spousal and child support, the present valuation of pensions, division of employer benefits, and claiming Social Security benefits. She is trained by Collaborative Divorce Texas as an independent, objective financial expert committed to helping divorcing couples and families navigate competing and shared needs and develop solutions that best fit the parties and their children without court intervention.

Manjula graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance degree from the University of Houston. She then served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, advising executive and business owner families. Subsequently, she transitioned to the Merrill Lynch Trust Company as a Trust Officer, working with high-net-worth clients.  Manjula then earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.  In 2014, she received an MSc in Finance and Investment Management with Distinction from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.  Manjula earned her US Certified Divorce Financial Planning Analyst® designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.

Manjula lives in Houston with her husband Simon, daughter Morgan, son Eliot, and family kitten Boba. She is a voracious reader and enjoys discovering new destinations with her family, cycling, hiking, skiing, and Les Mills Body Combat.
